At the head of the programme is Tarik O'Regan's The Spring which was the seed for the National Chamber Choir's latest recording Acallam na Senórach - a middle Irish narrative dating to the 12th/13th century telling the story of St Patrick’s interactions with two of the last-surviving members of a fian (band of warriors) once led by Finn mac Cumaill (Fionn McCool)." |
